Dear Mr. Grammar Person:Is there a difference between “who” and “whom” and if there is, why the (bad word) should I care?

Wow… the Herald-Tribune is something else, almost like an Onion for Tampa-St. Pete.
A link at the bottom of the Grammar Person’s page lists the Top Stories for Today, and the one at the top, at least when I clicked, was “Bridge zealots deal,” which is not about the endurance of suffering by community activists concerned about the bridges on the causeways down around Clearwater, but is rather a report about a bridge tournament.

Check out the other ‘top stories’:
• Red tide bloom rolls south
• Draft plan for easing annexation due today
• School’s principal resigns
• Arcadia man tried to use fake money
• Ballet: FSU can’t oust company
• Report: Man in murder case violates his probation
• Don’t like spiders and snakes? Well …
• Teen accused in stabbing of her father
• Englewood news briefs

Up there with the infamous Lititz Record Express, which unfortunately isn’t online yet.
And after reading The Navigator’s list of headlines, I’m beginning to wonder if the Herald Tribune is some kind of underground satire journal. If so, it’s brilliant (and a little embarrasing for me, I suppose). To publish a fictitous paper under a generic name like “Herald Tribune” and leave people wondering…
