Good Grief!

I think the novelty would wear off quickly… a Philadelphia woman got a new cell phone, and Verizon Wireless activated it with Donovan McNabb’s old number. Not only has the woman been getting a lot of McNabb’s phone calls and voice mails–she’s been getting his text messages. Alas, McNabb has requested that Verizon shut off his old number for good.

Hey, why should Donovan McNabb get special treatment? What do you think would happen if you left your wireless company (I’m assuming the new number indicates a provider switch, though I could be wrong) and then asked that your old number be permanently removed from circulation?
