Boss-across-the-hall update
Published by Becky S May 20th, 2004 in boss-across-the-hallBoss-across-the hall is out of the office this week, and it’s difficult to mock him when he’s not around. So let’s take this opportunity to review recent activy from the hated pager:
- One (1) kareoke invitation sent to team
- Three (3) kareoke responses received
- Two (2) e-mails sent to friends’ Yahoo! accounts
- One (1) business-related (!) page sent to Slippery GI, our database administrator
- Three (3) messages involving prank from boss-across-the-hall
- Five (5) mobile weblog posts
- One (1) test message for animated emoticon feature
- One (1) team message to flaunt animated emoticon prowess
- Two (2) pages from pager company inquiring how the pager is working out
Except for that highly inappropriate business-related page, the rest of your week sounds productive. Carry on.
Sounds like there is a Love-Hate or is it Hate-Love relationship between you and the Pager. Seems like the pager has lots of good opportunities for everything (but work). How does the Kareoke aspect work? Can you attach those new Bose speakers especially those with the Kick-Ass Sub-woofers to the pager making an “all page” (or rather “all singing” around the halls of the office? Sounds like a good morale booster i.e., unless the karoekee or kareoker can not carry a tune. In that case, you could suggest using “whistleing while you work” tune from the 7 dwarfs (or is 14 dwarfs?)?
I can just imaging the echoing around the halls of work! Say! Are there any openings there? I think I would like to work in that kind of environment. Maybe everyone needs suggest to the their “boss-across the hall” the potential added benefits to pagers.
