Becky over at Good Grief! claims not be a photographer but she has taken some beautiful shots on her recent trip to Montana, particularly this one at sunrise. I seem to have less and less time at the moment

Well, it’s hard to take a bad picture when ma nature presents such a fantastic display. As for the tree…it’s true–trees who get nose jobs ruin it for the other trees. Same goes for trees who get botox injections.

I really like the tree with the nose job. I guess its a reflection of the current times and the tree's rebellion by not having plastic surgery...

Becky, I really appreciate the compliment but I think you’re being a bit hard on yourself; these shots are great! Your sunrise picture is absolutely stunning. I love the rainbow shots too.

What are you talking about that you’re no flash-hound? Gorgeous place and beautiful compositions. Different shots remind me of Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helen’s and Yosemite–all places everyone should try to get to.

Oh yeah, I also like pictures of the 2003 Robert fire damage. The “blank” forest looks so creepy. We went on an interesting ranger walk and got the whole explanation of how fires are fought, how nature has adpated to forest fires, etc. It was pretty cool.

Thanks, Marcus and Bernard! I like this shot of my brother and St. Mary's lake and also this one from Two Medicine lake. The latter isn't a great picture, but it's a good example of the convergence of meadows, mountains, and forests along with the changing colors. It looked a lot better in person.
