Scott, checking e-mail at 2:32 AM is more related to multiple mojito martinis, a glass of champagne, and two cups of coffee than it is to me getting all technical and stuff.

I like the idea of bitorrents, but they never work. I get yelled at for being a mooch, even though I think I’ve unblocked the designated ports or whatever and before long I realize that whatever I’m trying to download isn’t worth the hassle. However, I heard that Spoon’s new album is leaked on a bitorrent, so the process is worth revisiting.

Against my will, I am on call this weekend (i.e., I had to take the pager out of my desk drawer and put it in my purse). So I paged a message to blogland (I’ve actually done this before). Pretty useless, since you can’t override the subject line.

I sent the sad Doug Glanville news live from the Abbaye, as I was finishing up a delicious veggie burger and Brewer’s Art Resurrection.

My next big technical project is to get a bitorrent, but it is pretty late right now.
