Need Beer" approach to pan-handling kind of tiresome. A drag, even. It was <em>kind</em> of amusing the first time, but after seeing about a ka-jillion of them, they strike me as kind of insulting and/or demeaning to all involved. <em>Hrumph.</em> Not to be grumpy, but I find the “Help, I’m beerless!” or “Why Lie? I don't have pictures but here we go : - at a small breakfast restaurant, where the kitchen is open and next to the entrance. Sign hanging on the glass in front of the kitchen : 'Don't stand here while I am cooking. It stresses me out'. - in North Beach - the Italian neighborhood - in front of a restaurant : 'Parking space for Italians only. All others will be towed' and then 'If you parka here, I breaka your face' - my favourite : in front of a begger 'Please help, I am beerless' Just back from San Francisco, we saw some funny signs too.
