Not a meme

Knowing that I hate memes, Scott—Mr. Blankbaby and Philadelphia’s so-called most influential weblogger—kindly tagged me to do one about music. Because I would feel guilty ignoring Scott, I’ll do his little survey and then not pass it on. After all, someone has to stop the insanity. For those who share my dislike of memes…look! Baby ducks!
Total size of music files on my computer:
3.3 GB
Last CD I bought:
The Patsy Cline Story
Song playing right now in iTunes:
I am currently listening to a quaint little device called radio.
Five songs I listen to a lot or songs that mean a lot to me:
It varies day to day. Note that the list is six songs instead of five because I like to think outside of the meme box:
- Max Raabe: Oops, I Did it Again
- Leonard Cohen: Dance Me to the End of Love
- Depeche Mode: Just Can’t Get Enough
- Futureheads: Decent Days and Nights
- Fountains of Wayne: Denise
- Ike Reilly: Hail! Hail!
If you found this post useless and silly…look! Baby goat!
What’s a radio? Is it another baby animal?
Denise! I love that song — or maybe it’s just the idea of a lavender Lexus? I’m not sure, but anyway…
Another meme… wow, it’s gettin’ to be like “Meme Central” around here. Also, “Decent Days and Nights” is now prominently featured on some sort of MLB “best plays” footage montage… oddly, no coverage of Burrell’s butt.
mmmm. baby ducks and goats. they look delicious.
Wow, The Futureheads have hit the big time.
Oh, Theresa. Because of your comment, some annoying PETA type will arrive here via a Google search and type a lecture about the evils of being a carnivore. Sigh.
I liked the animals. ^_^
You’re now going to get discussed in my latest entry where I talk about how my mind went on shutdown twenty minutes ago.
The baby ducks are pretty damn cute.
Not so much on the goat.
So I know what a meme is, but I don’t know why it’s called a meme. Sometimes I don’t get internet lingo..
Not a meme? Sure. But this, this is pretty not-not awesome. Meaning it is awesome. If it’s real, of course. Always with the fine print…
Why don’t you PayPal the guy $400 and find out if it’s real? I’d do it myself, but I’m saving up for a tooth.
Not much of a meme girl either, but as a library-school dropout, I am of course a Good Grief fan! Thanks for the link; I’ve done the same!
I hate the word meme.
I didn’t say the “v” word.
Oh no! Patsy Cline…it must be in the genes or rather the XX chromosome, certaintly not the Y portion
i heart goats. and llamas. and alpacas.
