Back in the soulless office park after a long weekend? Just for you, Good Grief presents the all happy mix of the week:
- 8 ½ Souvenirs – Happy Feet
- Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys – Feelin’ Kinda Lucky
- Ditty Bops* – Sister Kate
- Cigar Store Indians** – Crazy About You
- Paul Anka*** – Jump
- Happy Days Theme
- Bonus! 50 Cent Versus Jungle Book
Stream! Thanks to Type E, who provided several of the songs via his Happy CD.
*The Ditty Bops are playing in Philly on June 8th. Word on the street is that several area webloggers will be attending.
**I know, The Cigar Store Indians played at North by Northwest last weekend, but that’s all the way out in Chestnut Hill for God’s sake, and besides, I was very busy taking pictures of baby goats at the Oregon Dairy.
***Paul Anka will be playing in Marlton, NJ on August 5th and 6th. No word on who will be representing area webloggers.

The rumours on the internets say that even more Philly bloggers will be at the Ditty Bops show.
Wow, I hope the Ditty Bops can handle the excitement of all those bloggers!
I heard Paul Anka’s, er, rendition of “Black Hole Sun”, and all I can say is, SURREAL.
Pam, you can stream Paul Anka’s Rock Swings album here!
Becky–I am a bit disturbed to see that your smiley face has the giant black monochrome pupils that are so popular with Japanese school girls (covered in a previous posting).
Paul Anka is my new hero. “Eye of the Tiger” on that album is pure freakin’ genius!
I heart Paul Anka. And this Blackhole Sun cover will be a great companion to Steve and Edie Gorme’s cover.
Sweet. Let’s see if the iTunes Music Store has it. Nope.
