I think you should make those crepes with red pepper sauce. Your mother is probably on the Internet mostly to look at your blog (a big asssumption I know–sorry if I’m underestimating your computer needs Mrs. Moon Pappy)–so of course if she is being confused by pop-ups it is up to you to reward her.

Okay, okay. Mrs. Moon Pappy will get a prize! The prize will be one gourmet meal, served up at Chez S, the best restaurant in Fishtown. No cookies, though, unless she promises to hide them from Mr. Moon Pappy.

By the way, the original source of prize confusion was one of those silly pop-ups that says “you’re the one millionth visitor on this website” or some such. It must have popped up behind the scenes, and Mrs Moon Pappy saw it when going to Good Grief! So because of evil pop-ups I have to cook a prize.

Mrs Moon Pappy, I think you should withhold all of Becky’s Christmas presents until she gives you your prize. Of course, not giving your own mother a prize pretty much guarantees that you’ll only get coal from Santa.

Becky I have to say, I agree with Clair. If your mother called and said she thinks she won a prize from your blog–you should give her one. Mrs. Moon Pappy–what do you think your prize should be?

Maybe the contest can be to provide a new blog nickname for Mrs. Moon Pappy. If she wins that contest, it would all be very surreal.
