One reason why I like it because you can hear the history in the music. Can you hear the traditional Irish folk music influence? If you read about the immigration the Irish to the US you will find that a big chuck of them settled in the Smokey Mountains, which is the birthplace of Bluegrass. Avett Brothers and BR-549 remind me of a local band named Frog Holler (www.frogholler.com), great band.
